The course presents the main problems of human sexuality, including human sexual interests, behavior, and function. The course introduces sexual dysfunctions, not caused by organic disorder or disease listed on The ICD-10 Classification of Mental and Behavioural Disorders: lack or loss of sexual desire; sexual aversion and lack of sexual enjoyment; sexual aversion; lack of sexual enjoyment; failure of genital response, orgasmic dysfunction, premature ejaculation; nonorganic vaginismus; nonorganic dyspareunia and excessive sexual drive. The course also presents psychological and behavioural disorders associated with sexual development and orientation: sexual maturation disorder; egodystonic sexual orientation, sexual relationship disorder and psychosexual development disorders. The teaching methods will encompass: lectures, multimedia presentations, discussions, working in small groups. |
