(tylko po angielsku) The aim of the course will be to analyse relationship between economy and culture. On the one hand culture play important role in economy on the micro and macro level. On the other hand culture is under economic processes. So the course will be focus on the following subjects as organizational culture, cultural base of capitalism and traditional cultural phenomena under economic processes as fashion, tradition, food, museums. The special role play cultural industry which will be special focus. Course objectives: To give knowledge regarding relationship between culture an economy To shape research skills in culture and economy relationship To teach social competencies as group working and presentation research results |

Cultural Industry/Creative Industry 9. Social media 10. Media 11. Sport 12. Fashion 13. Food Seminars: 1. Culture and Capitalism 2. Origin of Capitalism and Western Civilization 3. The Varieties of Capitalism 4. Museums and their role in economy 5. Tourism and its role in economy and culture Students are required to conduct mini-research based on qualitative approach. They could use participatory observation, interview or desk research and realize the research process: aim and research questions definitions, conducting research and making anlysis. For the analysis students are required to use technological equipment as Atlas IT or audiacity programm for interview transcript. |
