(tylko po angielsku) The course will introduce students sociological aspects of spatial migrations and some cultural consequences of them. We will focus on the key words used in sociology of migration and cultural contact, we will discuss selected theories. The main aim of the course is the reflection on contemporary world problem of migration and locating the issue in a broader sociological context. |

He/she knows migration terminology. - He/she has extensive knowledge about migration processes, their consequences and historical conditions Skills - Student is able to make a critical analysis of texts in the field of sociology of migration and cultural contacts. Student is able to describe reflectively the reality of contemporary migration mobility. - Student can prepare a multimedia presentation in the field of migration and cultural contacts. - Is able to analyze migration processes taking into account political, economic, social and cultural aspects. -The student is willing to identify migration problems of the modern world, discusses and looks for possible solutions. |
