  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

Course description:

The course introduces the students to a variety of aspects relevant to the logistic fields of a manufacturing company, starting from different aspects of stock management, finishing on transportation rules and practices. The course is based on lectures and problem solving within groups included value stream mapping.

Course objectives

The course is of an introductory character, but at the same time it gives students a panoramic overview of various theoretical and practical approaches to logistic issues. It aims to give students the basic knowledge obligatory to every material, logistic,export or production planner. It is designed for students to engage with presented materials.

Lecture with a multimedia presentation

Commentary to lectures

Analysis and discussion of representative examples

Knowledge

Students:

1. have basic knowledge about the significance of every aspect of logistic, export and material planning (s-W-2)

2. know of the main methods of analysis and interpretation of data typical for a manufacturing company (s-W-2)

3. know the rules of basic delivery and stock management aspects (s-W-2)

Skills

Students can:

4. manage deliveries, safety stocks and solve problems connected to these aspects included value stream mapping, using the English language in writing and speaking with relative fluency, accuracy and communication efficiency in a wide range of business topics (s-U-2)

5. apply the theoretical frameworks in reality searching for, analyzing, selecting and using information utilizing various sources and methods (s-U-1)

Social competences

Students:

6. cooperate with others in a team, assuming various roles, shaping their own views on the basis of the gained general and detailed knowledge (s-K-2)

7. recognize priorities and objectives in self-study, (individual and group) assignments and research specifying the priorities for the implementation of their goals and tasks designated by others (s-K-1)

1. A case study to solve (50%) (1,2,3,4,5,6)

2. Class participation (50%) – commentary, discussion, analysis of examples in pairs, critiques in small groups (1,2,3,4,5,6,7)
