  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;

The course enables students to acquire skills in searching, ordering and using information from various electronic sources, as well as effective management and presentation of the collected data.

Pełny opis:

At the very beginning of course each student undergoes a test verifying the current state of knowledge regarding text editing and presentation tools, as a point of reference.

During the course, every student will be introduced to the methods of qualitative assessment of scientific publications in accepted international CORE and Polish standards (list of scientific journals and reviewed conference materials) with their metrics. Students will be acquainted with available databases of scientific publications as well as efficient methods of finding required information within them.

Students will be presented with detailed knowledge about advanced text editing techniques its presentation, correct formatting, with particular emphasis on presenting scientific content and referring to sources.

Additionally students will acquire basic skills in automation text editing tasks.

- proper selection of sources and information derived from them, assessment, critical analysis and synthesis of this information,

- selection and use of appropriate methods and tools, including advanced information and communication techniques

3. Aid the process of formulating and analyzing research problems with IT systems (P6S_UW)

4. Efficiently search for, analyse, select and use information utilizing IT systems (s-U-1 )

Graduate:

5. Is ready to exercise different professional roles in a responsible way adding those efforts with IT systems to for e.g. document sources in the materials resulting from her/his vocational activity (P6S_KR)

6. Is capable to properly evaluate possessed philological knowledge with the aid of IT systems in solving cognitive and practical problems (P6S_KK)

7. Shapes their own views on the basis of properly attained and verified knowledge aided by IT systems (s-K-2)

Evaluation of practical tasks administered in the classroom – outcomes: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7

One final in-class test assignment – 1,2,3,4,5,6,7

Criteria of evaluation

Evaluation of practical assignments administered in the classroom 20% of the final grade (each assignment is divided into 5 tasks. For full completion of a task student is granted 2 points, for partial completion student is granted 1 point) Each assignment is graded according to following framework:

5-6 points – 3,0

7 points – 3,5

8 points – 4,0

9 points – 4,5

10 points – 5,0

Final test: 80% of the final grade (test is divided into 5 tasks. For full completion of a task student is granted 2 points, for partial completion student is granted 1 point) Test is graded according to following framework:

5-6 points – 3,0

7 points – 3,5

8 points – 4,0

9 points – 4,5

10 points – 5,0

All grades are discussed with students individually.
