(tylko po angielsku) The course aims to give students the basic knowledge of standard British pronunciation (segmental phonetics). It is designed for students to improve their pronunciation of sounds in isolation. Course content 1. Articulatory phonetics: speech sounds and their production 2. Criteria for vowel and consonant classification 3. Short and long vowels, diphthongs and triphthongs 4. Strong and weak forms 5. Plosives, fricatives and other consonants 6. Phenomena of connected speech 7. Transcription of words |
