  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

Skrócony opis:

The task of the course is to raise student`s language fluency to level C1 (according to the criteria suggested by CEFR for languages) in regards to the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, and communication abilities.

Pełny opis:

Students improve their language abilities by training listening to different types of original listening texts and concentrating on general and detailed information. They practice reading texts at C1 level by understanding informative monologues, conversations held by two or three people, short abstracts presenting one matter. Students train writing different type of texts(e.g. an informal letter, email, description, shore essay). They train communication skills(whole group discussions, pair and group discussions). Students learn grammar aspects at C1 level (e.g. passive voice, parallelism, sentence formation).

1. English at C1 level in terms of grammatical, lexical and stylistic rules of correct usage, as well as of various registers to be used appropriately to social contexts (k-W-1),

2. complexity and evolution of linguistic systems and meanings (k-W-1).

3. use spoken and written English (relative to C1 level) correctly, fluently and effectively to discuss a variety of topics related to the condition of the individual in the modern society or to current issues (k-U-6).

4. fluently speak and competently write in English (at C1 level) (k-K-1),

5. cooperate with others in a team, assuming various roles (k-K-2)

6. be well-organized and reliable as regards assignments (k-K-5).

- two tests test – 1,2,3,4

- class participation – outcomes: 1,2,3,4,5,6

- two test - 80%

- class participation - 20%
