Depending on the elective module it concentrates on perspectives and literatures that most productively inform the discipline and which offer tools and categories for further independent reading and analysis. |

(tylko po angielsku) The course offers an overview and a review of specialist research in connection to students needs and academic orientations. Possible specialist approaches in public communication may include 1. propaganda analysis 2. news values analysis 3. argumentation/rhetorical analysis 4. agenda setting analyis 5. critical (discourse) analysis 6. ideological analysis (feminist, populist) 7. social movement studies 8. multimodal analysis 9. metaphor analysis 10 framing analysis |

(tylko po angielsku) Knowledge Students know: 1. the specificity of the subject and range of methodology of humanistic sciences, notably within linguistics and communication, cultural studies and visual arts in the public domain.
