Course objective - familiarising the students with the cultural differences - familiarising the students with the political differences - familiarising the students with the historical background of these differences ------------------ Course content China as a country the Industrial Revolution in Europe and its impact on the relationship between China and the West the Opium War the policy of the Open Door ------------------ Methods of instruction/ forms of classroom activity: presentation, discussion, individual work, group work, ICT tools/MSTeams |
