The goal is to provide the information on the environmental issues for students, to familiarize them with the current environmental problems and the pathways of their solution. Students should be familiar with the terminology and be able to use it to discuss issues. |

Topics related to the current state of the environment under the influence of extreme factors, its sustainability potential and ways to improve its quality will be studied. They include: sustainable development and prospects for humanity; global environmental challenges; the consequences of the environment pollution; planet resources for the mankind; the issues of climate change; nature and biodiversity of the globe; the prospects of agriculture; industrial effect on the environment; the relationship between health and environment; environment protection technologies; organizations for environment protection, etc. |
