Working on and improving the language skills – speaking and writing - in correlation: writing tasks are based on discussions; establishing writing as the process introduced in the earlier courses. |
Pełny opis: |
The task of the course is to raise students' language fluency to the C1 level (according to the criteria suggested by CEFR for languages) in regards to: - spontaneous speaking including sufficient fluency and precision, - correct usage of rules of pronunciation and intonation, - elastic usage of the language in speaking and writing for general purposes, - correct creation of detailed and relatively complex texts in the form suitable with the content, - controlled usage of mechanisms of text organization. The speaking component concentrates on: giving information, expressing opinions, giving proofs and arguments, informing the speaker about personal feelings and experience, expressing assumptions, encouraging the speaker to exchange the views, expressing acceptance or lack of it in the context of the speaker; The writing component concentrates on: an informative essay, an illustrative essay, a definition essay. |
