The task of the course is to raise student`s language fluency to level C1 (according to the criteria suggested by CEFR for languages) in regards to understanding exacting texts carrying the hidden meaning, correct usage of rules of pronunciation and intonation, elastic usage of the language in writing for general purposes, correct creation of detailed and relatively complex texts in the form suitable with the content, controlled usage of the mechanisms of text organization. |

Listening comprehension: understanding informative monologues, conversation held by two or three people and also abrupt fragments of speech presenting one topic matter. Reading comprehension: different forms of texts on the basis of which a st-dent has to find out or match particular elements of information. Vocabulary and language structures: a variety of texts presenting structures requiring correction, completion or transformation according to a given model. |
