Pełny opis: (tylko po angielsku)

This course is designed for the 2nd year students who have gained the Chinese language knowledge at certain level. The course uses teacher-designed Power Points to introduce the cultural differences between Taiwan, China and the West, and video-based materials for real-life practice if needed. Each lesson, we start with a new cultural topic where student learn about the differences, and potentional conflicts even. Students will be asked to picture themselves dealing with the differences and conflicts – thus in-class discussion is important too. They are expected to build cultural competence in this course.

1. has the basic knowledge of institutions and cultural processes in the countries of the Chinese language area and is acquainted with current cultural life (s-W-2)

2. is able to use the Chinese language in writing and speaking at the level A2 of the Common European Framework for Languages with relative fluency, accuracy and communication efficiency in a wide range of general, cultural and business topics (s-U-2)
