  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

Skrócony opis:

The task of the course is to raise student`s language fluency to level C1 (according to the criteria suggested by CEFR for languages) in regards to understanding the exacting texts carrying hidden meanings.

Pełny opis:

Improving student`s language fluency at C1 level as regards the skills of listening and reading.

Within listening comprehension: understanding informative monologues, conversations held by two or three people, short abstracts presenting one matter.

Within reading comprehension: different forms of texts in which a student has to find out or match particular elements of information.

1. English at C1 level in terms of grammatical, lexical and stylistic rules of correct usage, as well as of various registers to be used appropriately to social contexts (k-W-1),

2. complexity and evolution of linguistic systems and meanings (k-W-1).

3. use spoken and written English (relative to C1 level) correctly, fluently and effectively to discuss a variety of topics related to the condition of the individual in the modern society or to current issues (k-U-6).

4. fluently speak and competently write in English (at C1 level) (k-K-1),

5. cooperate with others in a team, assuming various roles (k-K-2)

6. be well-organized and reliable as regards assignments (k-K-5).

- final credit test – 1,2,3

- final credit test - 80%

- class participation - 20%
