Course description:

During the lecture students will learn basic terms and concepts used in the study and analysis of cultural texts. The lecture serves a purpose of introducing

the students in the field of cultural studies

Course objectives:

The main goal of the lecture is acquainting students with the terminology, research methods, and interpretive strategies commonly applied

in cultural studies.

2. Main themes in approaching culture.

3. Popular culture: definitions.

4. Media & culture industry.

5. Popular music and technology in 2020s.
