Career coaching for students

A general goal of the course is to raise students' awareness of their career plans after they complete their university studies. The students will have a chance to work with professional coaching techniques and tools for personal and career development via a coaching process.

2 ECTS:

1 ECTS – 15 hrs of class time + 10 hrs consultations;

1 ECTS – 25 hrs home tasks and preparation for classes

The course in career coaching is addressed to students who are in their MA level studies. Its main aim is to support students in refining their career choices. The course is highly individualised.

Course content includes:

Defining what is coaching, what coaching is not.

Setting a career goal.

Establishing a vision of fulfilled goal.

Analsing own values, beliefs, identity, strengths, emotions.

Recognising limiting beliefs.

Overcoming barriers.

Learning to make responsible decisions.
