(tylko po angielsku) During the lab course students will have the opportunity to explore methods used by scientists in their scientific research. Students will perform easy biological experiments using plants and invertebrates. The scope of the course: most important scientific techniques, i.e. observation and experiment; thinking about experimental design; the role of the pilot experiment; recording, analyzing and interpreting results; typical methodological mistakes; randomization, independence, pseudoreplications. |

(tylko po angielsku) Knowledge Student: – understands basics of scientific methodology. Skills Student: – designs a proper experiment scheme, – can adequately present results of the experiment; – effectively collaborates with other students in designing experiments and preparing the research written presentations.
