  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

The aim of the course is to present the relationship between culture, society and law, as well as to familiarize students with the main legal cultures of the world and an indication of the fundamental differences in the understanding of the nature and role of law between them.

1. The notion, essence and content of culture. Culture and Legal Culture. Comparative of legal cultures

2. Archaic legal cultures

3. Culture of common law and civil law

4. Cultures of law: Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist, Confucian and Hindu

5. Convergence, unification and interpenetration of legal cultures. Globalisation, international law and legal cultures.

Student is able to distinguish and recognise elements of different legal cultures, Is able to use his or her knowledge to solve problems connected with collisions of different legal cultures

Student is aware of his or her knowledge and skills, understands the need for continuous training and professional development, He or she sets the directions for her or his development and education

Metody i kryteria oceniania:

The basis for evaluation would be oral exam on the knowledge obtained during the course
