This is a course designated to Business English Module. It gives students preliminary practice in Business English translation.

- familiarising the students with strategies used in administrative translations of business texts

Features of specialised business texts and their translation

Aspects of business text analysis in specialised translation

Translation problems and procedures for business English texts

Aspects of equivalence in translating business English texts

Features of business and marketing texts such as genres, text-types, terminology, etc

3. use the English language at C1 level in writing with relative fluency, accuracy and communication efficiency when translating business texts (m-U-2/P6S_UK)

2. Written assignments (translations) - 55% of the final grade (outcomes 1,2,3,4)
