  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

Skrócony opis:

The main objective is to make students familiar with current global environmental problems and their local implications. Students should be able to discuss different solutions to the problems and provide arguments for and against.

Pełny opis:

Identification of possible global threats to the environment

1) The role of humans in climatic changes (global warming, desertification, deforestation)

2) Depletion of resources – permanent, renewable and non-renewable resources, focus on energy issues, food and water resources

3) Pollution and waste production – the ways to reduce their impact, focus on transboundary pollution and international problems.

4) New areas of technology and their possible environmental implications (genetic engineering, nanotechnology, information technologies etc.)
