Course description:

The course offers an opportunity to consider new trends in personal development through mindful and creative tasks. The students will gain insights regarding their sensory perception, and creative thinking through the process of mindful observation, reflection, self-actualisation and gaining awareness. The course offers a unique mindfulness training to gain insight regarding the quality of own life in the present moment and development of creative thinking through language activities in English.

Full description:

Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to tap into students' creative potential and practice being present in the moment.

Course content includes:

theme 1 – creative tasks (visual, verbal)

theme 2 - tasks developing being mindful (e.g. mindful breathing, body scan, observation, listening, eating, performing everyday activities, relations)

Forms of instruction: creative tasks, creative writing, creative project, mindfulness tasks, meditation, visualisation, sensory perception activation, pair-work, self-reflection, peer-feedback on performance, ICT tools/e-learning
