(tylko po angielsku) The main purpose of these courses is to present to students the history of economic changes, that took place in the world and in Poland, from ancient times to the twentieth century. The history of economics well illustrates changes in the economic and social life of the world, which have and still have a huge impact on the lives of modern people. Therefore, we will try to show students a broad perspective on these issues during the course. |

(tylko po angielsku) The main purpose of these courses is to present to students the history of economic changes, that took place in the world and in Poland, from ancient times to the twentieth century. The history of economics well illustrates changes in the economic and social life of the world, which have and still have a huge impact on the lives of modern people. Therefore, we will try to show students a broad perspective on these issues during the course. 1. Introduction to Economic history 2. Economic develeopment in the Ancient Times. 3. Economic develeopment in the Middle Ages. 4. The Economy of the World of Islam and the Ottoman Empire. 5. The economics of Europe in the age of geographical discoveries. 6. Economic Nationalism and Imperialism. 7. The Modern Industry. 8. Economic develeopment in Nineteenth Century. 9. The Early Industrializeres between Europe and USA. 10. Economic develeopment of Polish territories in the Middle Ages and Early Modern History (to XVI c.) 11. Economic develeopment of Polish territories in the XVII c. – began XIX c. 12. Economic develeopment of Polish territories (Russian, Austrian and Prussia partition) in the XIX c. – began XX c. Began of Industralisation 13.
