(in Polish) Celem zajęć jest analiza problematyki dotyczącej postrzegania w dawnej Europie kwestii związanych rzekomymi czarami oraz osobami za nie odpowiedzialnymi. Istotnym elementem będą też procesy karne o przestępstwo czarów w nowożytnej Europie. Interesująca będzie również kwestia postrzegania przez społeczeństwo tego przestępstwa oraz jego umocowania prawnego w dziejach Polski i Europy. Ważnym problemem związanym z omawianymi zajęciami będzie również usytuowanie czarownicy, czarów, magii w społeczeństwie pod względem antropologicznym, socjologicznym oraz kulturowym. Kolejnym celem będzie również omówienie na tle kwestii związanych z procesami o czary problematyki tolerancji i nietolerancji religijnej oraz wykorzystywania tego elementu do celów politycznych, ekonomicznych i społecznych. |

The aim of the course is to show students selected areas of history as a living science, references to which can be found in literature related to the genre of fantasy and science fiction. For this purpose, biographies of individual authors, milestones of the genre, were used to make students aware of how much the history of Europe in the ancient period, the Middle Ages and, above all, the first half of the 20th century, shaped the worlds and characters created by them. As this course is aimed primarily at foreigners, its aim is also to promote the works of our native artists, as well as show them their correlations with actual events mentioned by the authors themselves in their works or in interviews with them. |

The main aim of these courses is to show the role of history in shaping the theme of board and computer games. For this purpose, we will use examples of the most popular computer and board games in the genre of strategy and RPG games. We will focus our attention on the historical inspirations of the creators of computer games, and the versions of authentic events presented by them, or the adaptations of individual characters who have left their mark in the history of mankind.
