Learning outcomes: |
1. Graduate knows and understands fundamental dilemmas of modern communication studies in terms of its research and application for solving social problems k-W-5 2. Graduate can recognize public texts and other products of communication and culture and carry out their critical analysis and interpretation with the use of standard philological methods allowing for an assessment of their relevance and impact in the historical, social, political and cultural process k-U-3 3. Graduate is ready to function competently, responsibly and ethically within the area defined by the selected philological speciality (social competencies specified in a separate list of speciality learning outcomes) k-K-5 |

1. Writing chapter three: text domain under analysis 1,2,3 2. Analyzing texts in search of language strategies illustration the relation of language to social/political/media issues 1,2,3 3. Writing paraphrase, summary and synthesis 1,2,3 - weekly check of advancement in writing BA thesis - 40% - two written assignments: a paraphrase of the text prepared by the teacher - 20% - a synthesis of texts selected by the teacher - 40% all tasks are compulsory |
