Course objectives The aim of the course is to enhance students’ strong sides and to work on the improvement of the skills need-ed to function in life as a self-aware human being; to show and learn the ways of self-development; to learn how to act as an autonomous individual at the university and in life; to train the skills of coexisting in a larger group of people, even if we do not share their perspective; and learn to listen empathically to others. |

Course content During the course the following aspects will be discussed and trained: 1. Discover your strong sides. 2. Effective overcoming of difficulties. 3. Develop interpersonal relations skills. 4. Empathy towards yourself and towards other people. 5. Insight into your own needs. 6. Strengthening decision-making skills. 7. Personal courage. |

Criteria of evaluation 1. two challenges – 70% 2. active participation in class and preparation for classes (continuous assessment) – 30% To get a credit students need to: 1. Pass all the challenges. 2. Be an active participant in in-class tasks. |
