Course descritption

The main focus of the course is the theory and practice of Transactional Analysis in a business context. The students will learn a psychological model for human communication and will be engaged in practical tasks to understand the communication paths, what enhances communication and what blocks it.

Course objectives:

The main goal of the course is to familiarise the students with the concept of transational analysis and to draw attention to what enhances and what block communication in the business context.

1. Main concepts of Transactional Analysis - introduction

2. The value of contract in the business context

3. Attitudes in communication (life positions)

4. Building relationships via communication (strokes)

5. Interpersonal styles (ego states - structural model),

6. Thinking styles (ego states - functional model),

7. Communication paths (transactions)

8. Psychological games (drama triangle)

9. Time structuring
