Określenie przedmiotów wprowadzających wraz z wymogami wstępnymi

A. Wymagania formalne: brak

B. Wymagania wstępne: znajomość podstawowych zagadnień przyrodniczych z zakresu systematyki i klasyfikacji zwierząt bezkręgowych; umiejętność samodzielnego wyszukiwania i korzystania z dostępnych źródeł informacji biologicznej oraz posługiwania się biologiczną literaturą naukową; umiejętność prowadzenia dyskusji

Cele przedmiotu

Poznanie historii powstania oraz ewolucji owadów na podstawie materiałów kopalnych. Poznanie i zrozumienie sposobów fosylizacji szczątków owadzich. Poznanie i zrozumienie ewolucyjnych i środowiskowych uwarunkowań powstania różnorodności morfologicznej i funkcjonalnej owadów. Umiejętność prezentacji pracy semestralnej w postaci pokazu multimedialnego.
